Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is giving South Africans free access to its online learning platform as citizens stay home during the COVID19 lockdown.
The HPE Digital Learner Platform offers several courses including HPE technology, AI, security, blockchain, virtual reality, DevOps, and also personal development.
“COVID-19 has not only cast the demand for remote capability into stark relief, but has also highlighted the shortage of skills currently facing companies in the rapidly evolving technology sector,” - Renay Rampersadh, Education Manager at HPE South Africa.
Separately, HP and the Africa Union will work together to provide digital learning opportunities for youth through the HP Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurship (HP Life) and BeOnline program. BeOnline targets educators while HP Life provides business and IT skills training worldwide.
